Marmaris Castle
Marmaris Castle is one of the must-see historical places in Marmaris with its seafront location and magnificent views. History BC It dates back to 1044. There is also an Archeology Museum within the castle. There is no doubt that it will be a nice trip for those who dominate Marmaris and visit it day and night.
The view of Marmaris bay from Marmaris Castle is magnificent. Do not forget to take photos here. There are 18 rooms, a fountain and an arc in the castle. The castle has 7 closed areas. 2 of them are archeology hall and one of them has been arranged as an ethnography hall. The remaining sections are used as art gallery and warehouse.
It is open to visitors every day between 08.30 and 19.00 (from October 31 to April 1 until 17:30 in the winter season). Entrance Ticket Fee is 14 TL.
